Lincoln has been some stranger anxiety with everyone but George & me: Grandpa, Grandmas, Uncle Z. Seems like he's a bit young for it (11 weeks), but who knows?
He did very well last Saturday at Easter with all my mom's side of the family...check out this photo of him and his Great-Grandpa Marbut!
Of course, right after I took the photo, Lincoln started screaming--but at least Grandpa got to hold him while he was happy for a minute!
His first Easter Sunday at church, Lincoln looked adorable: white trousers, striped shirt, vest, tie and all. (Although I'm sure he was ridiculously uncomfortable--check out exhibit A. Look at that lip! And this was the best photo we got...)
Unfortunately, he did not act adorable, and I ended up missing most of the service. Mom had taken him out to feed him, and he screamed so badly someone had to come get me. He was a very, very fussy baby! (if screaming nonstop is just "fussy") Even took him a minute or two to calm down when I took him, and he continued to whimper and cry off and on.
After we got home, though, Linc calmed down and was fine. Of course! We just hung out at home the rest of the day; it was awesome to get to spend some unbroken time with my baby!
