1 month old!

Happy birthday to our little man, who is one month old today!

(not having a good day, so this is the best photo I could get)

**10+ pounds (and has the quadruple chin to prove it)

**Outgrowing newborn clothes

**Nursing every two hours = exhausted, milk-factory Mommy

**He smiled at me twice last Thursday! Actual smiles!

**Favorite things to do: eat, sleep, eat, poop, eat,

pee through diapers & clothes, eat, spit up, hold head up, eat...

Unfortunately, for the last week, Linc has been very gassy and having trouble getting it out = lots of crying/fussiness = exhausted Mommy & Daddy. Thanks to Ang's recommendation, the 5 Ss from The Happiest Baby on the Block help him calm down, but not even gas drops help his little tummy. He just grunts and strains and turns purple and gets really hot and yells until he gets it out. But we are loving life with our wee man, in spite of the trying times!

Lincoln loves Llama!

And Llama loves him too...he's very curious about the newest, loudest member of the family, but also indifferent a great deal of the time. Gotta love cats.

Fun Photos

The famous fishy face!
(aka "I'm trying to poo")

It's Naked Baby!!

A lawyer? Forget it! I'm going to be a boxer!

The winner of the bout!

Linc's first "big boy" bath

after the umbilical cord fell off was as traumatic as the sponge baths.

Please tell me he'll grow out of this!

Random photos of the baby

are apparently all I'll be posting for the next several years!!

Isn't he cute?!

his dachshund outfit.
Aaaaaahhhhhh!

not usually part of her outfit :)

Obviously he's not much of a fan!

Photos: Lincoln coming home!

I've meant to post more photos for ages--guess nothing will never get done on time ever again! Also wanting to post thoughts on labor & delivery. I read somewhere that the experience was just the beginning; talking about it and reliving/thinking about it are also important. This is good to know, because I do both frequently!

Lincoln is fine and doing well. Last Friday he weighed 9 pounds 6 ounces! He's probably close to 10 pounds by this point.

These photos are from1/30/09 when we brought Linc home!
